The Anita Kerr Singers was one of Nashville's most in-demand vocal groups of the 50s and 60s, both as a headliner recording act and as a backup vocal group. This blog exists to compile a listing of the recordings on which TAKS performed as a backup for another recording artist. I know there are dozens of them, but I am not aware that they have been cataloged anywhere. So, here is a small start, by title, artist, and chart date. I will add others as I come across them, and I invite you to do the same. Unless otherwise noted, all recordings were released by RCA Victor Records.
1. Abilene - George Hamilton IV - June 1963
2. Hang On - Floyd Cramer - October 1961
3. Language Of Love - John D. Loudermilk - October 1961
4. The Three Bells - The Browns - August 1959
5. I'm Sorry - Brenda Lee - Decca Records - June 1960
